This directory contains the code of StatistX 0.4.0.
The subdirectories 'statist' and 'gtksheet' contain code
that differs from the original packages!
(Thus, you can't use the original packages!)
This version also containes a patched version of statist. See also 'CHANGES'.

Obtain libFoundation 0.9.x and GToolKit 0.9.x, e.g. from the StatistX home page 
http://www.usf.uni-osnabrueck.de/~abeyer/private/StatistX

To make StatistX 

1. configure, make, and install libFoundation

2. configure, make, and install GToolKit 

3. configure, make, and install StatistX (which is located in this directory).

Please, remove the ".StatistX.rc" file of StatistX versions older than 0.2.2
from your home directory. The file is not compatible.
