Development of the Model Interchange Format(Summary)

The Model Interchange Format (MIF) is a general exchange format for programms implementing models. It advantages are especially interesting for expositions modellers. Conprehension of the results was the top goal of its design. MIF files can easily be edited manually or further processed with scripts. The format was developed as part of the CemoS project, in which five students are involved. A short indroduction to this project should motivate design and implementation, which is going to be descripted.
