CV

Profile

I am a PhD candidate with a background in economics working in the “Behavioural and Experimental Economics for the Environment” group. I specialise in environmental, behavioural and experimental economics, gaining experience with experimental methods used in lab and online experiments.

The three research projects of my PhD analyse how changes in ecosystems due to climate change and approaching regime shifts in ecological systems influence local resource management. The aim is to improve policy designs that promote integrated resource management strategies.

I have designed and programmed a novel (quasi-) time-continuous Common-Pool Resource Game for the laboratory to study how externally driven damage of resources and how early warnings about potential regime shifts influence cooperation amongst group members. Furthermore, I have designed an online experiment to assess the effect of varying forecast accuracy on individuals’ compliance with a warning forecast and reliance on a forecast system.
